MEET THE DESIGNER
Erin Lea Marlow is a storyteller, designer, artist, and educator based in Austin, Texas. Her creative journey began in 2008 when she enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Mass Communication Specialist. There, she documented military life and operations around the world—telling the Navy’s story through photography, video, design, and feature writing. Her work was published across both military and civilian platforms, laying the foundation for a career built on purposeful and impactful storytelling.
Following her service, Erin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic and Web Design from the Art Institute of Austin, graduating as Valedictorian. During college, her digital illustration of Serena Williams was featured to promote Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls, the most funded book in crowdfunding history. Her creative work has appeared in notable publications including The Huffington Post, LA Times, Yahoo! News, Vanity Fair Italy, Marie Claire, Real Simple, Parents, and The Guardian.
After graduation, Erin was the sole designer of a national award-winning magazine that reached over 70,000 veterans bi-monthly. She also managed the Texas VFW Headquarters’ website, social media, and event photography to showcase key moments in the veteran community.
Building on that success, Erin founded Marlow Brand & Design, where she worked with local startups across Texas to create impactful brand identities, websites, and social media content.
Today, Erin shares her passion and expertise as a photography and graphic design teacher at Hill Country Christian School of Austin, where she also leads the yearbook program as advisor. She continues to create artwork—especially her “Austin” series—as a personal hobby. Her career is rooted in creativity, service, and a deep commitment to stories that matter.

"Erin Marlow is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the most knowledgeable and professional designers (and human beings) I've ever had the privilege of working with. She not only brings her vast knowledge of design & graphics to the table when presented with a challenge, she also brings a superior level of practical experience as well, providing a unique problem-solving skill set that is ultimately unstoppable. In more than 30 years as a photographer and designer, I have NEVER met anyone who was more unique, creative, organized and self-driven than Erin Marlow. You simply won't find a more talented artist with the ability to deliver virtually any product under the sun. On time. Every time. I trust her implicitly and give her my highest recommendation."
